Yeah I knew I was going no bigger than 35s and going 2-3in lift. I saw all the 2nd gens doing it and figured I can fit them with little rub. Sucks not having any write ups or anyone to help with guiding how much to cut so I just went for it and cut everything.

My truck would get that high just driving. So I swapped an aftermarket trans cooler and haven't seen 200 since. I drive like a grandma anyway. I think I'll do it till I can afford gears. Maybe next year though.

Not with an auto junior. ECGS recommends 4.88s with auto and 35s. Pretty sure they know better than you do. :smack:

And ask Jimmy about 35s with 4.56.

To be honest I am liking the 4.88s with 33s

Just cut for 35s. That way you never have to mess with it again.

I bought 33s last year after a long debate. Figured I was never gonna do 35s. Just like everyone else who has said that, here I am prepping for 35s.

True I blame it all on the sumbitches in this thread. Knowing what I know now I would've done things differently but I just think of all the shit I learned....not to do. Haha I'm more afraid of what I'll do when I go as far as I can/want to on my truck. Then what:notsure:

Just cut the fucking thing. People over think this way too much. Cut it almost all gone spray paint it and be done. The cabmount is strong enough to support the cab on Craigs truck and his cab mount is GONE pretty much

:smack: youre gonna pay someone to use an angle grinder for maybe 3 hours worth of work?

Unnecessary expense that could be spent on a more tasteful mod

It took me about that long. But like I said I welded the plates in and ground the welds and rewelded and ground the welds and rewelded then had to wait for the paint to dry.
