I have a sort of vague plan in my head, beyond just a giant money pit, lol. Not sure where in TN your from, but over here in east TN, there's a local guy who used to be into minitrucks named Brandon Barefield. He's built minitrucks that have been featured in national magazines... his most famous is a slammed Nissan hardbody in Hawaiian blue. He does pretty amazing work from what I've seen. Him and I are gonna get together here in the next couple of weeks and see if we can come up with a game plan for some 3/16 plate armor that will retain the functionality of all the sensors on this thing. Once crafted and we have a good guesstimate on weight I'll have a better idea where to go on suspension/lift/tires/etc. That should occupy (drain) my bank account for quite a while

 

Anybody have the hook up on a clock spring? Mine is apparently going bad. My horn only works intermittently but my cruise control still works.

 

Or your horns are going bad. Why do you need a horn anyway?

Yeah they don't last long once you start submerging them in mud holes. Neither do the airbag sensors

 

That is how the demise of my horns started. Started getting weak and intermittent before dying completely. 2016 LBL mud killed mine. $30 replacements from Advance.

Just their regular breathable ones or the "northern guide" ones?

I still need to get a pair of chest waders.

 

I wear Cabela's super mags. I'm on my second set. I love them. However, if you aren't planning on using them in very cold weather I would choose something else. Otherwise you will be swimming in ball soup.
