I'm not powerlifting or in the neighborhood of y'alls squat/deadlifts but I would love a partner sometimes. I enjoy the solitude but it would help to have someone pushing me.

 

I feel like if I'd have had a lifting partner I'd have kept lifting

 

I literally took months off sometimes because I didn't have a partner, it's miserable. It's always good to pick somebody close to your strength or goals too for competition.

 

And schedule. There's not alot of guys in the gym when I show up at 1-2am.

 

you're right. I have a friend that would make a great partner, huge guy...but he's a nurse. works weekends and has 2 boys so he works around midnight on weekdays..

 

Yeah. I'm ok with it for the most part. Like I said not powerlifting just trying to get stronger so for me it's not to bad. I just try and add some extra reps each workout. For example my Bench set/rep 3x10 so I do a 4th set and work on increasing those reps. when they get above 6 I increase the weight and start over.

 

strength is powerlifting lol. if you want a good strength building plan look up the Wendler 5/3/1. It gave me massive gains on my squat and dead when I couldn't seem to get past a plateau.

 

I'm just gonna walk everywhere on my hands for a year and my upper body should get huge, then I can just walk normal again and the extra weight of my upper body should work my legs out enough for their mass to increase

 

Anyone want or need these things? Door ajar switches and a coax used once. With the switches, three worked perfectly when I pulled them, one was spotty so I just went ahead and bought a full set of four. I'm moving soon and don't want to take them, so if you're local I'll give them to you for a couple bucks or even just trade everything for a few rounds brass or something. Also have a brand new thermarest pad I don't want.
