ill definitely look it up. i try and mix up my reps with weight to keep it different, low weight/high rep, high weight/low rep. with the higher weight I've just noticed its started to hurt a little more. With squat I tweaked my back a year or so ago. its fine but I definitely don't want lower back issues. With bench I got up to 275 doing 3 working sets of 5 but it just hurt. I've since lowered it and doing 3 working sets of 10 with lighter weight. I don't need to get huge I just got tired of seeing myself in the mirror after getting out of the shower.

Also my vote is for Steve Cooks big man on campus, that was the first workout I ever followed.

I did the musclepharm squat every day.

I also did Layne Norton's workout with 3 bench, 3 squats, and 2 deadlift a week. Idr what it was called.

Get a plan and then modify it to your liking. Now I just go in and do my own thing now, but I go in with a plan in mind.

haha. A long time ago when I was high school I was the pet project of my linebacker coach. I tended to be in and out of trouble and my dad was out of town for work all through the week. My coach, coach braasch, was almost a second dad to me. his favorite exercise was squat. I was around 155 my senior year and maxed out at 500!

My favorite exercise is the squat. focused my workouts around squatting everyday starting around 120lbs body weight (5'9") and a 135ish lb squat. In a year i was ~190 squatting 550-600 depending on what I ate the day before.

500lbs at 155 is pretty stout.

jeez! obviously it really helped that I was 5'6". a lot shorter drop to parallel! I hated squats. we would do the negative workouts and coach braasch was my spotter. its been a long time since ive had those muscle "twitching" workouts

The first time I ever deadlifted I was working out my with best friend and we worked out back that day. He didn't let me stop until I maxed out at 225. We worked out for 3 hours that day

@chrisrocks300 did you ever contact that muffler shop? I supposedly sold my old suspension so that was going to be my next mod along with accompanying skid
