My brother is the same way. 27 years old and he minored in nutritional studies, all he eats is chicken fingers, burgers and potatoes. Won't touch veggies and very little fruit lol. You couldn't tell by looking at him, he's fit.

when I used to travel I would order the same meal as my co worker did or the guy sitting next to me. used to annoy people at times so I would ask the waiter to order their fav meal at times. im not picky about food. I eat almost anything. pig nose and cheeks are yummy

I don't wash my hands after bowling, touching railings, door handles, keyboards etc. It makes you stronger.
as a kid I would play in the swamp, mud puddles, woods or where ever was dirty and I don't get sick often

    What?
Jk, after 30 years as aviation mechanic, my hearing is definitely compromised. My ears ring all the time with varying degrees of perceived loudness. Just keep your ear plugs or muffs handy so it doesn't get worse. But once the damage is done, there's no repairing it.

Also if my sockets aren't wiped down and put away in their designated spot in my toolbox I lose my shit. The tech that has the box next to me is a slob. Half the time I'm organizing his shit just to treat my OCD.

Anything that has volume adjustments (tv, radio, phone, etc...) has to be an even number

Everything on my nightstand has a "proper place" which only I can determine and has to be correct before I go to bed (Just that specific item though)

I have to shoot 50rds through my CCW twice a week. no exceptions. EVER (shoot the same 50 round drills)

I check every pocket for everything I carry on a daily basis every time I leave a room

I always put my sockets, wrenches, and other tools back where they belong, hell I paid good money for the stuff I better be able to find it. My friend who is also a very talented technician leaves his shit all over and I can never work with him on anything at his place because half of my time is spent finding things. I usually don't wipe everything down until the entire project is done though because I'll waste too much brake clean and towels if I do it too often.

Interesting thread. I've developed a few over the years, but the one that drives me nuts is always feeling the need to wash my hands (with soap) after I eat -- ESPECIALLY if it's anything greasy. Seriously, I don't know when this developed because I never had this issue when I was younger. I guess I don't like the idea of my hands being greasy (but only as it relates to food). I can work in dirt, mud, etc. all day and not give an F. But when it comes to eating? Gotta wash them. If not, I keep thinking about it until I can wash my hands.

What else .. The volume level on my work laptop has to be 39 (out of 100 - max). Not sure why; just like the number, I guess.

I start to feel uncomfortable if I'm in a car for an extended period of time without the windows cracked or AC/fan on. In other words, I need to have the feeling of a breeze or else I start to get wiggy. So weird. My go-to is usually having all four windows cracked 1/4 of the way at least.

Used to have to sleep with something covering my eyes, whether that was another pillow, t-shirt, whatever. Kinda comforted me and helped me fall asleep. No joke. Did that for like five years in a row. Now I can fall asleep normally. :D

    *Edit -- added more below

The hand towel in the bathroom must have its tag hidden. In other words, the front of the towel can't have the tag. Has to be on the backside, but with the tag facing me, if that makes sense.

When I take a shower, I always wash my hair first.

Left shoe on first, followed by right shoe. Same applies with my hockey gear. Everything goes on left side, then right side.

I always set my alarms five minutes apart from one another. (6 a.m., 6:05 a.m., etc.)

I can't stand clutter. Everything has to be neatly tucked away or stored. My co-workers hassle me because I'm always obsessed with keeping my desk clean. The few items on and around my desk, and in my office, are all uniform/in-line with each other. Clean angles, etc.

If I use the AC in my car, the temperature knob will never be max cold. It's usually the first click before max. And I'll always - ALWAYS - turn off the AC button before turning off the truck.

I can go on and on. It's sad...

Not so much a quirk, but more of a pet peeve. When people throw empty beer cans or any trash loosely in my truck bed it throws me into a blind rage. I can't stand it

When my low on gas light comes on I make it a game with myself to see how perilously close I can get to running out of gas before I will pull into a gas station. I've never run out of gas yet. So I WIN!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I've played this game before. Haha I drove until my truck would sputter at stop lights and then ducked into a gas station. I was surprised I got another 35mi or so after the needle was totally at E.

Can you pick up a drill and not press the trigger a dozen times before using it? I know I can't.

My cousin and I drove from Kingman Az to Lakeside Ca on one tank of fuel in his taco, got ~30 miles from lakeside and the low fuel light came on, when we filled up in lakeside he put 19 gallons in the tank before the pump clicked off.

Yes, however I can't not keep my finger indexed, and I never touch the trigger until I go to screw something.

I try as hard as I can to not use my brakes when I'm driving in heavy traffic. I have a theory that brake lights cause more traffic to pile up behind me, but I don't want to seem like I think of myself as overly important.
