    All Canadian Club is aged 6 years. Yours seems to be the same as the bottle from 1970 on the bottom of that page for 175 (UK), just not quite as old. That's why I offered $100.

    Just for shits and giggles, I will say a little more about this Canadian Club...just in case some folks don't know much about old liquor.
    The whiskey, because it is in a sealed bottle that does not breath or add anything, is still only a 6-year aged whiskey. Bottling it stopped the aging. It is rare that it's that old and somebody hasn't mixed it with Coke and finished it off. The reason that it is slightly more valuable than new Canadian Club is that, over time, recipes change and most folks consider older recipes to be better.

    I should add...if this were a corked bottle, it would breath a little and possibly smooth out the whiskey a little. So, some corked old whiskey does get better with time. This bottle will most likely taste exactly like it did when it was bottled, but possibly different than what is on the shelf today.
