Yeah that engine was sucking fumes!

 

I was worried I might hurt the fuel pump, but that still works out to a 12oz beer can worth of gas when I hit the station.

 

On a completely unrelated topic, anyone on here good at photoshop?

I'm tossing around the idea of making a vinyl wrap or design for my truck... I'm on the fence about what sort of style though.

On one hand, I really dig the idea of the whole geometric camo thing:


Advantage to this is I could do it myself hella cheap with essentially my scrap materials from my vinyl side business, start flopping pieces on the car and all you have to do is squeegee wrinkles out, there's no set alignment to cock up so I could just guerilla smack it on one day for basically my sunk cost of materials.

On the other side of the coin I think those 80's-90's as fuck Toyota pickup designs are pretty neato:

I like the look, but this would have to be done with a bit more care and caution to match the body lines, and I've never applied big designs before. I understand it in theory, but if I DIY it would be my first run.

The color scheme I'm thinking is Inferno Orange, Silver, and gloss black.

That would be sweet! I could do something like that to hide all of the bad spots and chips in my paint!

 

if you have the spare Vinyl laying around, go for the camo look. The fact that alignment or pattern doesn't really matter makes it a no brainer. I'd love to see how it turns out.

Ya, I thought so too. SDHQ HAD BLACK, Sierra don't know if they had other colors, and 4WP doesn't carry.
