Definitely stay away from neoprene if warm weather is your intent

 

year round is my intent but i can tolerate cold much better than hot.

 

for summer though, I'm tempted to just wear boots with gravel guards and shorts.

 

Idk how familiar you are with neoprene, but for example I can't tolerate my waders above 50* or so. Neoprene does not breathe. Period.

I would check out banded brand waders. They make some awesome breathable waders. Had a chance to test some last winter. Spendy though. Also, everything I'm
Mentioning is hunting specific. I know nothing of fishing geared waders.

I have a pair of Patagonia's and they finally ripped after 3 years of brutal hikes, falls and endless up hill battles. Do any of you know what lph our intank fuel pump pushes at? Also, what our fuel injector size is (in lbs/hr)?

Looking if I get a S/C would I really need a bigger fuel pump. A guy in the unit is big into street cars and has installed S/Cs on almost all his vehicles and he strongly suggests Kenne Bell Boot-a-Pumps over new fuel pumps. Im doing the research now. Pretty interesting.

I saw a dude on here that did his, and as great as it looks, there is no chance of that happening. His truck has been sitting for months and he fabbed up nearly everything new in his engine bay haha.

 

i borrowed some LLBeans for a week in montana last year. Thet were nice but wanted check out other brands.

Simms are a bit expensive for having a made in china label on them.

I'm not gonna read that article but the way you stated that was that you are gonna use some old, outdated fuel pump technology instead of a new fuel pump Is that correct? If so, explain the logic in that. As for if your fueling system can handle the extra power from the SC, it will depend on how much more power is added. Let's say your injectors are working on a 60% load at 200whp and you add 100whp, you can expect to see similar results from your injector duty cycle raising the working load to 90%. Now I'm sure I'm wrong with the percentages of what the injectors will really see but the point is the stock injectors will only flow so much fuel. Yes, you can max them out. Yes, they will be fine for an x amount of time. But go out and sit in your truck and hit the gas till you hit rev limiter and just hold it there. It won't blow up immediately but I bet it blows up a lot faster then if you were sitting at idle.

I know that those SC kits can come with a 7th injector which probably eliminates the extra stress put on the other 6 so id say your stock injectors are fine but adding a 7th injector will require the fuel pump to put out that much more fuel.

My guess is that you won't be adding enough power to need an upgrade for any of the fueling system. If so, you're probably looking into a stronger front diff, chromo half shafts and a new rear end also.

The supercharger kit should come with larger injectors to keep the duty cycle down. People generally aren't changing fuel pumps until they go with a smaller pulley and/or headers/exhaust.

@Skootter14 There is absolutely no problem with the Walbro 255lph fuel pump as long as it's receiving enough voltage...aside from being a loud pump. I didn't look at that article either, but if it's an inline pump to increase line pressure after the in tank pump, your friend is an idiot and shouldn't be asked anymore questions regarding performance modifications. I ran a Walbro 255 for years on an 8 injector 4 cylinder Eclipse. It supplied more than enough fuel. Plenty of reviews out there on that pump too.

 

I'm running a DW65c (265LPH) fuel pump in the FRS on 8 injectors as well @ 386whp. That pump is good for 500whp. Walbro is also an awesome fuel pump.
