I hate the dull grey locks with the barrel key. Every time I try to open one side my keys all drag across the painted finish and I'm afraid that will scratch the top. I know it will..duh! Anyway I want to replace them with the black regular key locks but can't find them anywhere. Are they all pretty standard fitting?

Curious how dragging your keys across it will be any different with a different shape key.

take the keys off your overloaded key ring and keep them separate. or use a carabiner clip

Yes frizzman that would be the answer. I shall do that. I still don't care for the barrel key but supposedly they are harder to pick than a regular key lock.
