    Want to know a secret to get tires soft again !!:thumbsup:


    What you need ...

    Gallon of WD 40

    paint roller with foam roller pad

    Paint roller pan

    Large box saran wrap

    (2) LG 30 gal black garbage bags


    Directions ...

    Take WD 40 and pour into roller pan

    Make sure roller is soaked with WD 40

    take roller and apply WD 40 to tread surface making sure tread is completely covered

    Once tire tread is covered with WD 40 take the saran wrap and completely wrap the tread surface

    After applying the saran wrap place ea tire in garbage back and seal it closed so no air can circulate

    Set these aside and let them soak in for two weeks . after two weeks remove from bags and remove saran wrap and enjoy having a very sticky / gummy tire


    Doing this WD 40 tire treatment is guarantee a much softer tread surface that will durometer in the low 30's . this is a favorite perf trick for dirt track or pavement race cars . this can lower lap times up to 1/2 second or faster

    I'm happy with them spinning it's not a race car. I have no idea what color anything is in the rear I farmed it out. The rear diff and transmission are the only 2 parts on the car i didn't rebuild I believe other than that Me and a buddy di it all mainly me by myself
