Does anybody have any weird habits or quirks?

You just reminded me of my fear of needles. It happens when I get blood drawn. It causes a vaso vagal response and I pass out.

 

I just hope they hit it the first time.

I can only purchase fuel from one gas station, and only on Friday...(the only exception being road trips). If I can get the same pump every time, I will, but it is not a necessity.

 

I have the opposite quirk....I have to watch the needle go into my skin. I can't look away. It doesn't have anything to do with not being afraid or being sadistic or anything like that...just that I have a bigger fear of the anticipation of not knowing when it's going to happen if I look away. I stare intently the whole time until its over.

 

I don't think I've ever left my house without making my bed. I would turn around and come back just to make it...

I have to take a beer to bed with me every night. Sometimes I drink it.. sometimes I don't. I guess it's my way of ending the day and realizing how good I have it.

I can't shave my face all at once. I might do part of it in the morning and the other part at night. Girlfriend cracks up about this one.

I'm a runner and can't have anything with me when I run.. even my long runs 8+ miles.. no headphones.. no watch.. no water.. no keys.. etc.

I hate taking showers.. I routinely go 4 days without showering even though I run a lot. I can mow the yard and run all the in same day and crawl into bed. I think i sleep better this way..

Other than that stuff I'm normal.

 

Here's a crazy quirk. I refuse to have a TV of any kind in my home. While there are a few decent shows on TV. I'm not about to go out and buy into that time suck / brain washing device.

The Smithsonian channel might be the only channel that's putting out decent content right now. Learning about the USS Tang is a lot more interesting than watching a bunch of obese men yelling at each other on Street Outlaws

 

Full Strength Simple Green let it sit for about 30 minutes then use a wheel woolly and rinse off

 

Funny thing is, it seems to mostly be a time suck for the older generations. My parents and grandparents watch a lot of TV, but most of my friends and other college students don't.

 

My wife does this thing with her fingers....jokes aside when I pump gas I must end on a whole even amount.
