Morning all, I took the taco on its first road trip, left Barharbor maine and drove to boston,
Right thru down town on a Friday nite. Wow what a mess I was stuck in the tunnel for over an hour. Thought I'd go vist a buddy who lost both his parents over the winter.

I have a set of Total Chaos stiffeners, great product. Got a Snugtop topper on the bed, 200+lbs. I wanted to be proactive.

No plans for a hard top I'd like to go the soft top route when I can. I'm making the bed stifeners myself i these don't work I'll make something different

Just a heads up Jim, one morning you'll wake up and look in the mirror and see some old codger looking back at you. I started the 60+ 8 years ago and now I'm looking at starting or joining a 70+ thread:eek:. Don't feel old, but damn sure looking it:rofl:

Morning Chris, hows the shoulder doing?

Those look really good. I had a hard time figuring out how thick I wanted to make these. Those look like 3/16 and if these don't work I'll build another set that thick I went just a little lighter with 1/8".I still have to weld the bottoms and drill the holes. Of course out of all the sockets I have I don't have the 2 I need to remove the bed bolts so I'll have to go out this morning and get some. As I'm not planning on putting a heavy hard top on I'm hoping these will work. Either way TC wants like $155 for a set and I ought to have these done for around $25 even if I endup making another set it won't cost too much
