LOL that is too cruel he deserves some punishment for that! Sounds like a smart man too.

The Cdr. I hunt with in SD son got married on SD pheasant opener. John wouldn't let that rest for several years. When my oldest son decided to get married he called me up and asked for the dates I go hunting. I asked him why and he said Meghan and him were planning the wedding and he wanted me to be there LOL. I would have been there no matter when it was but doesn't hurt to keep them guessing ;)

Evening kids, worn out from getting prepared to go camping for a week. After all these years I still think I am forgetting something. I try and keep it simple, but don't want to "rough it". Back to watering everything, I need a beer.

I'm trying to get some rest. Just woke up. Wore myself out again and I'm not 100% yet. Trying to get ready for ac guys. Found D out yesterday one of spray foam erstwhile came thru attic door and went doodoo in brand new toilet that I bucket flush since there's no water. Well they tried to flush it but not enough water. Looks like they tried to leave out front door but couldn't with dead bolt so flipped bucket upside down and climbed out bathroom window. As much as I've been through lately I just went and filled bucket and flushed the toilet. Not worth the aggravation.

Is that a Tilley Airflo? What ever it is you wear it well!

Last month or so been shopping for a decent brimmed summer hat and came close to getting a Tilley airflo. Last week ended up getting an Orvis Mans best friend hat though.

    I have about 30 hats.
All baseball hats. In various forms of cleanliness. After a while clean is a relative term.. Lol
I did have a cowboy hat once.
    Not a fan...
    It was given to me.
So I had to wear it at certain points in my life.

Kids always want to get together for Father's Day Sunday. That day often coincides with the Copper River dipnetting trip ... they've spent somewhere around 3 or 4 of the last 8 year's father's days with Kristi.

Most of my life wore baseball hats. Until about 10 years ago now I want to protect my ears from the sun. Have probably 20 baseball hats still though. Have run a few through the dishwasher to try and clean them LOL. My warmest hat is a Filson baseball hat that is wool lined and has ear flaps.

But most of the time my hats have brims now, including hunting hats.
