Tell me about it. Easy line at Slickrock. Went to the right the first time and walked right up. This time I listened to the jeeper. Then got winched by a jeeper (@Gply 's brother). Sad day. Cameos by @Bentrodder @Gply @tacomgee

Glad you guys didn't tell me about that until after! Swaybar didn't help. I was pretty shaken up at that point since everyone thought I broke something. The popping ended up being my parking brake sticking the violently releasing. I just listened to the jeeper even though I knew going right would be easier. Hopefully the changes this year make obstacles like this minor challenges.

Should have pulled you from the back. All the weight was backwards. Less frame dragging that way.

    Was that an option?

prob eyes closed and puckered and foot was flailing... She had about every reason to be in that drivers seat as her spotter had spotting (spotted more of himself falling than anything)

@jqueener what does full armor mean? Skids all the way to under the gas tank? Or bumpers and sliders? Just planning ahead ;)

all of the above. the harder trails like the Rubicon , hell hole and barret are examples of trails im preparing this list for. If want to smash your stock bumpers to shit then go for it. but sliders and the main three skids you will need if you plan to make it without damage then bumpers will be needed. also recovery points. stock bumpers don't leave you much options for that nor will you have the clearance needed. Im not here to tell everyone what they need. you want on the list I will put you there its your responsibility to be prepared for your asking to get into. If it was me I wouldn't attempt any trail with large rocks without all of the above.

I totally get it! Just wondering. Thanks for the info. All that is on my list (well, the gas tank armor was not, but...) and I'm well on my way. Hoping to have the armor complete this fall. The Rubicon is a goal.

Another question... any must-have spares in your experience? Tie rods?

there is a short warmup list to check the gear you have and need if new, dont want to bolt a bunch of stuff on then show up to rubicon and hell hole.

    Niagara Rim no bypasses.
Bald Mountain hard entrance and play around a lil.
    Poker Flats.

    learn some rocks
    Brewer Lake.
    Strawberry Lake.

Slickrock should now be easy if open.
    Start Deer Creek to meadow.

Ready for anything. Hard list from here is hard. Learn to drive and spot.

    ?

Or is there some side trail at poker flats...
