I have a Tacoma 2017 PRO and wife has 2017 Camry SE. Both have oil cartridge oil filters and need to change the oils. Local Toyota dealer is useless and would sell whatever they have in stock, last time they gave me a wrong item (not oil related).
Is the cartridge the same for both cars or different? Part number? Better not OEM filter?

Why don't you just look the part numbers up for both vehicles and see if they are the same?

I am not sure about the Camry. But the oil filter for my wifes 2011 Highlander V6 is the same as my V6 Tacoma.

If they are both V6, they are the same, both my Avalon and Taco use the same filters.... Get OEM off Amazon for +- $7.00...

I got 10 oem filters off Amazon (with the two o-rings, drain nipple and a drain plug gasket/washer for each filter) for ~ $40 shipped. I can check the part number on them in just a few minutes.

I don't think the PRO's need their oil changed.... That's why they are "Pro's"...correct..??

By the way...that's a good price for them...:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I went with Wix when I did my 1st oil change because of quick availability. My closest Toyota dealer is 15 miles away. The local auto parts store is just down the block. Wix is very reputable and made in USA. Fram filters however seem to have a bad rap.
