I got my lawn mower fixed this weekend, and a lot easier than expected! It sucked up the flapper that flattens the grass last weekend and it stopped the mower dead. After that, it wasn't running right, I thought I sheared the key on the flywheel. Turns out I didn't so I just cleaned the carb, put it back together and it's back up and running again.

 

Took my time and did it well. Wired through the Bussman on two of the relay circuits.

Since Amy's pregnant and close enough to her due that that concerts are a bad idea and can't go with her sister, I'm trying to move her New Kids on the Block / Boyz II Men / Paula Abdul tickets at Fenway on July 8th. I'd prefer to not have to sell them on a FB group or CL and figured someone here might have a wife / sister / girlfriend / awful taste in music and might want to go.

I paid $140 for them (face + fees). Not looking to get any markup on them, just looking to break even. I'm happy to show anyone interested all the receipts I have for them (receipt / emails / etc) to prove they're legit.

I figure better here than the buy / sell / trade thread since it's not truck stuff.

 

Nice! I hope you re sprayed that NFab bar though. The coating they put on from the factory is terrible and will start showing rust along the edges really quick, at least my old one did. I bed linered it and it held up nicely afterwards.

 

I'll try a friend of mine who loves them..

 

Yea it's on the list of things to clean up with the scalar. I'm waiting for my shop to move the 4 post lift outside so I can do a once over on the rusts and then respray it all with rust converter.

 

I didn't but that's good to know.

For anyone else that is putting one of these on, their directions say nothing about it, but I found the installation was a lot easier by removing the grill and working from the top. Much better than trying to squeeze my arms in from the bottom.
