I was skeptical of these lights on Amazon, but for $87.50 I figured I'd give it a whirl. A few years back someone with an apparently very lifted truck in SoCal tapped mine while parked in Venice overnight and I'm just now fixing it. Replacing the left tail light would've cost something like 90+ bucks and I like the way these look. Anywhoooo they're the Spyder Auto Black Altezza Tail Lights and I dig 'em! The incandescents all swap over, took maybe 15 mins.

I don't actually have a build thread here. I have a subdomain of my website for the Horizon Tour road trip preppin' stuff, as well as instagram updates... it's been an ongoing deal. I also have an Expedition Portal build thread going but it's more for the adventure side of things and not so much Tacoma mods.

It's not heavy on off road mods or anything. In a nutshell it's a 190k mile chassis, replaced engine with 45k import, new suspension (basically stock, small upgrade for lift), it came with a crazy 6" lift which I've fallen in love with despite the extra wear and tear, got 31" tires right now, rebuilt drive shaft with spicer u-joints, and then all the stuff you can see easily in pics. I picked it up in Colorado about four years ago with about 137,000 hard miles on it. I've had to replace lots of stuff and had strange breakages, from a sway bar that snapped to my rear drive shaft shearing off!
