I'm finally posting a couple pics. After a brief hiatus from a Tacoma to a Camry, I'm back into a Tacoma. Picked it up around the first of the year. It's a '17 premium tech OR 4x4, and came with TRD shift knob, TRD air filter, roof rack and TRD catback exhaust (sounds awesome, by the way). I've added the air dam, and scored predator steps and bed step locally off Craiglist. Just got the Pro grill for my birthday. I'd love to upgrade tires and eventually Icon suspension.IMG_20170610_193805.jpg Collage 2017-06-10 16_37_29.jpg 8481.jpg

Good so far, I was driving somewhat cautiously today because discount said I still had some rubbing at full lock but I like it so far. I used to have 35s on my '05 and it feels similar. I feel like it actually feels a bit better than stock, there's kind of a weird sensation (like a delay or something) on the stock ride when you hit the gas or take your foot off that has gone away.

You can definitely feel the extra weight though.

I never tried ECT with the stock wheels/tires, I've only had it about a month. I was thinking of trying it out with the new setup tho because of the added weight.

Looks great...good use of space. I'm just a little leery about the " "Ford Pinto syndrome" .....You know... Exploding gas tank issue they had. Those cans are not in a great place in the event of a rear-ender.
But it still looks cool and I suspect that you'd mainly only be running with gas cans there in an Off-road scenario, right..?

    THat rear bumper is great..!!

I just can't decide if I want to keep the BSM or go with the high clearance bumber. I do like BSM. You still gained at least 4" by the hitch being integrated in the bumper?

The whole reason I went with c4 was the bsm and integrated hitch .. I'm a painter / body man with a deep background in restoration... just could not get the high clearance... oh it looks good but couldn't cut a new truck like that .. I've got a 81 sr5 hilux flatbed 4x4 for the real fun stuff( Beat up and will go anywhere).
