You've gotten a lot done!! I really need to clean my MAF and Throttle body. I have had the cleaner on the shelf in the garage for almost a year now. I have heard cleaning both really helps to smooth out the idle and mine has been running a bit rough these days with almost 107k on the clock.

Do it!! It shouldn't take more than half an hour, and that's being generous. I'm currently baking my headlights, but once I'm done here I'm going to clean it. Then change the diff and tranny fluid.

Doing the BHLM. Not the bowl, but just the chrome surround. One of my headlights had condensation in it and failed state inspection. Since I have to reseal it anyways, I might as well paint it!!

I was half tempted to steal my wifes brush to clean the throttle body, but I don't think she'd find that amusing.

Only if it's delicious theater popcorn!

So I'm doing the oven method to separate the headlights, but got a heat gun to have on hand to help keep the glue warm during separation. The fucking thing CAUGHT ON FIRE. Luckily I like to set up my environment for safety before doing certain things, so it wasn't an issue. Going back to harbor freight to get a refund and going to buy a legit one.

Yeah it surprised the shit out of me. The gun was smoking a little, but I just thought it was burning off whatever because it was brand new. NOPE. At least I got one headlight separated.

Any Pics of the dead heat gun? I was super close to picking one of these up when they were on sale for $8.99 or so.

There's not much to post. The flames came from inside the gun and I quickly blew them out.

I am! I don't want any melted headlights!!

The mod is now going smoothly (knock on wood). I'm outside doing the painting. Im only doing one headlight at a time because I'm not in any rush, and I can refer to the fully assembled headlight if I get stuck.
