$200 is cheap(if it can be properly removed) for a dent like that. On double body lines.. hope for the best
Or just install Chrome TACOMA letters, no one will even pay attention to the dent.

What's your deductible..?? If it's quite low, then I'd suggest driving to a "seedy" part of town and leaving your T/G down ...(disconnect the rear camera wires first)....

Come back in 20 minutes and say "holy shit" my T/G is gone.... If you got a rear view camera ...all the better....

Insurance co. buys you a new one... hehehe... Just kiddin'n guys...:anonymous:

    This.

$200 is cheap as dirt. Body work is expensive, you'd be paying that much for paint alone with a traditional repair, and probably another $200 in labor.

I'm not sure paintless dent repair can fix all of that but maybe... I am a door ding freak and use them any time I get a ding but they may not be able to get that because of the location.

Removing the interior tailgate panel would give access there and take about 30 seconds. No?

I think as long as they can get access to it they should be ok. I wasn't aware access would be that easy. I know doors can be tricky if they are too close to a seam/crease (maybe not the best descriptor) but if they can get access and the seam is not damaged too much they may be able to. $200 seems high until you have to get that repainted. Around here they charge between $50-100 but if $200 would take care of that it is worth it to me.

I do paint and bodywork. That will not come 100% out with PDR. That is a conventional repair all day long if it needs to look perfect.

That was my point. Won't the creases be the issue?

Agree with calling the PDR guys but that dent along the folds might be a lot to ask. Keep us posted on the outcome.

Just make sure they guarantee it will look perfect or you get your money back for PDR or I would be leery.

Yeah it's repair or replace no pdr... insurance would only pay for repair for that ... if you want to replace it would need a dent within the Tacoma stamp .... can't fix that .:anonymous: Not saying do that but if you look close I don't know maybe just maybe ones there:notsure:maybe directly below that in the A ? In line with the damage.

They can't guarantee that before they start.
