    yep..
Finally had a free day to put my lift in. Bilstein 5100 at 0.85 with a 1/2 spacer drivers side and 3/8 passenger. Netted about 1.5" lift.

Tires go on Tuesday and I have an AAL waiting to go on when I get another day off!

    Edit: No vibes :)

Honestly, I think these mirrors look better than the itty bitty factor mirrors...I have them on my Taco...they are great for towing a travel trailer.

Might be too late but there is like 4 notch on the cv axle. Slide you cv inside the diff until you are blocked, then put the tip of a prybar in the notch and hammer the handle to push it in. That's how I did mine last weekend and went perfectly on both sides!

I'll try that... I'm taking lots of breaks with this AZ summer heat... I'd rather not die...

Sure! You are replacing for new ones? Did the hub seal came with the new one or you've been able to transfer the old one on the new cv?

The new one came with everything I needed except the diff seals... that's what I was actually replacing, the CVs are a matter of convenience... and the boots were torn so I guess it is 2 birds with 1 stone.

    Lucky tho, the axles I
Got had no seals, been able to save 2, had to buy one on the spot last saturday and order the 2nd one. Rolled the truck a few days without it. I was lucky all roads were dry and no dust. Seals were in bad conditions on one side, both the axle one and the hub one. The one on the diff was looking good and no leaks so it stayed there lol

Edit: i think the one I have in my hand wasn't the right one my local autoparts sold me 2 years ago when I replaced my bearing. But it fitted there and when you don't know... and the old one was really destroyed so I couldn't compare... now everything is fine!

I haven't been in a "real" winter since the beginning of 2010 when I was in Virginia.

Yup, my SR8 center caps are the same. Must be why mine were "dented". It's just a stick on logo.

What's the deal with center caps? Are they top shelf?

No, they are the center caps shipped with SCS wheels. It was pointed out that the SCS logo is actually a sticker, and the caps say "RX Motorsport" on them.

    A shit ton!

First found a takeoff muffler on CL for $80. Found a wonderful hole in mine and it's been getting louder by the day.

Grinder, then runs Encapsulator then prime then paint all the skid plates and spare wheel!

    Hole in muffler:
    IMG_6562.jpg
Picked up the new exhaust (brand spanking new!)
    IMG_6597.jpg

Out with the old and in with the new:

    Rust bucket:
    IMG_6595.jpg
Forgot to take a picture of it all ground down.
Prime and paint (went with flat black, not sure if I should have done satin or gloss)

    Now time for beer!

Don't really know yet. All I've heard was a recording of the sound on their web site. I still need to install the air tank, the hoses, the remaining wiring for the ARB compressor, and a few other things.

It's hard to find time to work on it. I get home too late at night to get much done and weekend are usually tied up doing shit for the wife.
