    A coloidial mixture of iron and petroleum based lubricant never hurt anyone :D minimal if any shavings, some unnamed person damaged the top thread and NPT fitting wouldn't start. Tap went right in there.

    Ladies....The trap has lost some of it's status as the ultimate challenge at least temporarily. First, the pit is now full of logs, and secondly, it's now dry, not frozen underneath, and with all the video available, contestants get to study the "perfect line" well in advance of the attempt. Those of us who conquered it "back in the day" (Feb) know the TRUE Tank Trap.
