What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I've been working on this CV axle for half the day and all I've managed to do is hurt myself and poke a small hole in the boot.

 

Lol it sucks! I think you are good away from cold and rusty parts!

 

Man Now I'm really not looking forward to tackling that job later this year!

It's the c clip that just refuses to go into place. It would probably be easier with a 2 post lift so I could get real leverage.

I took these about 630 this morning otw to our meat

 

ANd while it's curing.....

And then I get to the green waste dump, and it's a Taco party. Another had just pulled out when I got there.

Upon leaving I find these on the other side of the pile. You can't make this stuff up.

 

Plate wouldn't fit over hidden hitch with center latch for swing outs on my @RelentlessFab bumper so had to add an illuminated license plate frame to the cab carrier to be legal again.

Ohhh, I just thought it was something special the way people made it seem

 

Ok,

Soooooooo.... because the cap on my BRM is a shade or two darler, and it hurts my heart every time I see the color difference (not to mention the chips on the edges from previous owner), I decided to use the left over weather stop from the Bushwacker flares to break up the cap and the truck...not sure how I like it so far.

I hope:
a) the color difference is not as noticeable now and
b) that the black weather strip adgears well to the fiberglass and does not fall off or sag
.

A cheap bed cargo net from Amazon.

Just wrapped it and used the snaps in the middle to hold it up. Should work well to store lightweight stuff.
