Shemya was just a site.... one plane and the folks to maintain it. On alert unless bad weather. Could all have changed by now.... and WINDY as all get out.

No, you figure you're doing good and it goes totally sideways. I didn't feel too bad. The smartass intern who is suppose to be really good at all of it was screwing it up. At least I ran the batteries down.

Finished lawn ... let the rain come again.

Ran a net and some supplies over to Randy's.

Only slept couple hrs this morning after work, so got lazy ... cooking chicken nuggets and crispy crowns in oven...with carrot sticks and cucumber spears ... dipping everything in ranch dressing.

Guess I've been lucky. Mine came out 3+ years ago. Had an adjustment period for a couple of months but that was about it.

No sir, I retired from active in 2009; now I'm a civil service load planner in the same squadron from which I retired active duty. I build a load plan every two weeks for the resupply mission to Shemya.
