Probably wont be a popular opinion but the Preds got robbed of a game 7. I feel bad for them.

I get that the ref made an honest mistake but there has to be some sort of review the league can do next year for those types of plays. I just think that such an important play should be reviewable in some way. I know the play was dead but the puck was clearly in the blue paint with only a predator near the puck, common sense would dictate a goal was the only outcome. Im not at all a Preds fan but damn that hurt to watch as a fan of the game. Their fans must feel like they got kicked in the nuts, and rightly so.

PS: how does Crosby win the Conn Smythe and not Malkin or Guetzel? Dont get me wrong, Crosby was good in moments. But those guys were good all series long with some clutch plays when it really mattered. Just the NHL wanting to write story-lines and keep inflating Sid's trophy collection?

Congrats to the Pens though. They played well and fought hard.

I ultimately dont care i'm just saying that as a preds fan I would be gutted if I was in their position. Any hockey fan would.
