On the gear ratios: In my opinion the 4.56 would be fine perhaps a bit better for on the road. Then the 4.88 would favor off-road. I run 4.56 on my 2012 with the 4.0L and auto trans and love it with just 33" tires. Fuel mileage was shitty on stock gears, really no worse now and I have power!

Hey dudes! Good news, roof rack is almost done for the mini van. Bad news, some 4runner fuck already attempted to copy the design. But his looks awful :jerkoff:

Thanks! Aaron is doing a great job! Once he's finished most of my rack he's gonna start on a new bed rack for him.

I was just reading about a ride to the top of Mt. Evan's.... Highest paved road in North America.

Maybe a great weekend ride on the bikes... once mine is back together.

Wolf creek, about 20min from my dads place, is just shy of 11K. That's a fun drive (ride)

Mt. Evans is 14,265.... only 787 miles from my house if I avoid interstates.... I am thinking 4 days, yeah, the wife should cover me for 4 days.... camp night 1 and 3, and hotel night 2.... I almost feel like a plan is officially forming.

I'm on 4.56 and 35's and they work out just fine. If I ever end up needing to replace worn out or broken gearing, I'll bump up to the 4.88's since I got this gearing for when I was on 33's

You won't be wrong going with either one. Just need to decide if you want more power or more mpgs
