Damn, I wish I would have thought to ask yard questions on here last year. I live in Aurora, and the house was rented out before we bought it, so I don't think the tenants cared about watering for a long time. Last summer our yard was about half dirt, if not more. This summer it's more green, but more than half weeds. Any tips? I'd love to have a super nice green lawn, but I don't have the time or funds to really invest into it at the moment. Also no sprinkler system, so I bought a couple of those sprinklers that fan out and go back and forth.

Don't have pictures, but I could get some and post them tomorrow.

How often does he get pulled over in Utah for a 'safety check' due to their no kegs state law?

Ortho Weed-B-Gone concentrate & get a . Mix it strong & apply during the hottest part of the day so it sucks it up fast. Also give the base of the vine a nice 5 second "watering" to get the root too. Give it a few days & then do it again. Should be gone in 7-10 days.

This is what happens when you have no idea about shutter speed, ISO, F number, or your camera in general...

Taken about 1 minute apart from each other at ~10:00 pm.

Reading stuff is one way, but i learned by just going out and doing it.

Keep it on manual mode and play with it whenever you have the chance, i no longer take mine out of manual mode. I don't know the fancy rules for adjusting one a certain percentage of another, but I make due and it usually works out!

The key to any good vegetation is making sure the soil below is healthy.

All those herbicides also negatively affect the microbes and bugs that keep said soil healthy.

I suggest you throw down some drought tolerant seed (they make Colorado specific mixes). Water it with your sprinklers. You can buy timers for your faucet so you water early morning. Deep waterings is best. Makes the roots dive deep.

Then get corn gluten meal. It's a fantastic weed suppressor and fertilizer.

You can also spread soil amendment on your lawn once or twice a season. Happy Frog makes a great product.

It will take a couple of seasons of use but that will control weeds and build a healthy soil/lawn environment.

Edit: Well I guess it's called bindweed.

It's called bindweed, and you need to pull it up and then treat your entire yard with a "Weed and Feed" type of fertilizer (specifically to treat bindweed.) I now use Lawn Doctor for my weed control and fertilizer because I could never get rid of the spurge and bindweed... without killing my grass at the sametime.

Side note, if the weeds are allowed to flower, the flowers are white.
