What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I'm getting ready to do this. Expensive little piece, but worth it for two extra switches and a clean install

I'm still recovering from getting my 3-Switch panel setup...

 

Added a Pop n lock to my tailgate. Was able to tie into the wiring for my shell lock so it was much easier. Had a little trouble with the actuator hitting the lock arm but ended up adding some grease and zip ties to fix it.

Surprised how loud it is when it locks!

 

Airbags, wheelers add-a-leafs, Bilstein 6112's and 5160's...

And some six-shooters too. Ok, not all in one day. More like in the past week.

 

I got them from Lowe's. In the automotive fasteners drawer. I spray painted and clear coated them. Snug fit! I forgot which fasteners they were though

 

I installed one yesterday. I can't even hear it lock from inside the cab.

 

Had Bilstein 5100's installed to level the truck. 4 Runner TRD Pro wheels with Cooper ST MAXX in 255/75r17 tires. Added a soft topper. De-badged, de-chromed and de-stickered.

 

converted all my tail light bulbs/reverse light bulbs over to LED.. tons brighter than the stock bulbs!

 

Installed and wired my mirrors. I Love em'! Thanks @mesojdm

Those do look pretty dope. Plans on selling them along with the ultimate turn signal?

 

So, I'm running into the squeaking rear-end issue, and it's not from too much chili.

I've got the Icon AALs back there, but I'm assuming they are not causing any additional noise than the stock toyota leaf pack. If I go in to my local dealer, will they be able to get that all fixed up for me? Or do I just deal with it until I order my deavers?

Hy Icon/Stock combo did the same thing. Not much I could do other than pressure wash and keep them clean. Deavers don't make any noise

 

Looks awesome! I'm really liking that setup for my future lift. Couple questions:

What notch setting did you go with on the 6112's?

What size tires you running?

...and it's going to have to wait. Toyota kidnapped my truck because they think my rear diff is leaky. Hint: it isn't, but my VIN is on their list.

Thanks @jaredc2306. As you are probably aware, there are 6 notches. I went with #5 on drivers' side and #4 on passenger's side, recommended for 1.5" of lift (Bilstein manual recommends this diff between right/left to compensate for the driver-side lean). These settings apply to the kit #BIL 47-234413. Manual is for the shock E4-WM5-Y520A00. I was able to go one notch higher (#5/6 for 2" lift) but this vehicle is setup for towing so I wanted a bit of rake to compensate for the load.

Tires are 275/70/17 BFG K02s.

 

Smashed up my driver's side mirror reversing into my parking spot at home. Was distracted and got a little too close to the fence. $275 part ordered as the local dealer wanted to charge me $460 plus 1 hour of labor. Will have a look to see how difficult they are to replace.

 

I relocated my Hi-Lift from the canopy’s roof rack to the side bed rail (Relentless Fabrication mount). Now the jack is protected from the elements. While I was at it, I mounted a 2-gallon Rotopax (water for emergencies) to the front rail.
