Looks like we were right by Carb hill, just didn't find it last time cause I could never find where it was marked. Looks like Walker Creek School Road is a big hit to run as well.

So as you can see, we went left at that creek crossing to the campsite and widow maker. We could have also went right and bypassed that and found some more trails. This map is YUGE. Good find.

It is (was) My last Jeep went up that hill a time or 2. It's steeper in person than the picture looks. Not hard to climb though. Much traction.

Those who will be there Friday morning, where are we 'meeting' up?

Everett and I talked about it Saturday and there really isn't a good spot for it except the last gas station, which isn't even that close to the trails

    A suggestion...

Miguels Pizza parking lot. (Google it) It's a Pizza join/rock climbing shop/campground, on the left, just outside Stanton, on hwy 11. A few of us met there and went exploring Hollerwood back in April

Huge gravel parking lot. Not far past Natural Bridge State Park.

I'm looking more like a maybe-maybe not for this. No skid plate for the new bumper and I'll be missing a bachelor party to go camping.

Pizza is supposed to be excellent. Mike ( @tacabode ) is familiar with it.

Miguel's is actually just southeast of Slade. Probably has a Slade address too.

So is that we wanna do then? Meet Miguel's by noon, get fat on pizza and then hit the trails?

The front page is everyone that has said for sure so far that I know of. Quite a few others saying up in the air until closer to time.

Miguel's is good, but not really that close the camping/wheeling spot (unless we can find a trail cutting Hwy 11 in half and not have to go down and back around to it lol). Not like it's far away, so it could work, but it is down the road somewhat. I'd be down to grab some pizza maybe for lunch on Saturday then embark back on another adventure.

When it gets closer to date and everyone know's exactly what day they're leaving and going down we can figure out a little more.

Friday morning crew post up which way you'll be coming in and we can all set up a time and where. I can come in from the bottom of Slade or can go up and meet a few people in Lexington to ride over through 64. Its a little longer for me to travel that way but wouldn't mind if people need to meet to find their way in.

It's kind of hard to make a meeting spot for those that say they may be there and might not. If it's a maybe, you may just have to find your way there from the coordinates that are posted up and use your CB's. If you're in for sure, we can make do to meet up if we all know who all is traveling and when.

Miguel's is 12.2 miles +/- from Stanton exit off parkway.

You'll probably come into the Nat'l park around Irvine/Ravenna right?
I'm coming Friday morning for sure. Be in park territory well before noon. Problem is, there are 4 different exits I can take to get in, where we may/may not meet determines this. Morehead, Owingsville, Mt. Sterling, and Winchester are all points I can turn off 64 into the park.

Based on what I'm looking at (maps) and what you fellers who've been there have said, Slade seems to be fairly central to where we will be.

This will more than likely be the meeting spot before wheeling. It is right off the Pkwy and easy to find. Whoever is going from close to the same home location can meet and ride in with each other but this seems like a decently local spot to meet, discuss where everyone would want to hit first, grab some final gas and snacks before heading out.

The trail head is the opposite direction is what @mwc273 is saying. So instead of just backtracking since most will be coming the parkway, everyone will have access to gas/food/etc. and head straight to the trail.
