I just got a 4x4 for occasional beach trips and if I ever need to goto my land while it's raining or muddy.

I'm never gonna take the tundra through a mud hole or put 37s on it.

i got the taco for any off-road shenanigans

It may stay stock forever too. The tundra is a "deal only" build. Lowering kit comes up for a good deal, it'll be lowered.

A lift comes up, it'll be lifted lol.

    Whatever faith wants

I don't mind lowered trucks but 4WD lowered seems like a waste of a truck. Lower a 2WD.

i do not want to offend here but from where I am sitting its a male thing. you catch shit if you dont ahve the biggest baddest thing on the block. If your truck isnt 4wd then you arent a man. If you have 2wd/want to keep your MPGs/lower it/keep it stock/etc. then you clearly arent slaying all that hot (insert word for vagina here). Its pervasive and frankly terrible.

That lowered tundy looks sick IMO. and its going to handle better and may even improve MPGs.

Lowered 4wd = won't get stuck in wet grass like 2wd, can still goto the beach and have fun, if you wanna do racecar shit... launching in 4hi means traction for days, etc.

There's really no reasons to not lower a 4wd. It's like a awd car but with the ability to tow shit and have a bed.

    Seems like a win win.

I like different. I don't like "You don't like exactly what I do so fuck off and only my opinion is right". The second seems to be what people do around here most of the time. You do you. Your money, your truck, so slam it or lift it sky high.

I mean... the taco is 4wd and it was lowered on a 3" drop kit. It was fun as fuck and got 20mpg doing 75 and handled like a dream.

Lift kits or drop kits. It's not the end of the world. It doesn't ruin a 4wd cause you can always take it off if you change your mind and it's cheaper and less of a hassle than trading for a 2wd truck and later realizing you want a 4wd again and have to buy or trade trucks again.

I'm talking about so low you can't drive without scraping every single pebble in the road not a mild drop.

    Well a 2/4" drop isn't scraping level.

I'm only down for scraping if it's on bags just cause they look good hard parked.
