Yes we can do a completely blank face except the flush mounted led and shackle mounts. Notate that in the customer notes at checkout, or call in to the office at (225) 726 7979

Wit the grill off its very accessible. We recommend aiming the light just before putting the grill back in.

Yes, the Warn Xeon platinum will fit if you remove a bracket that interferes with the solenoid. Two small rivets need to be drilled out and a bolt removed. Takes 5 minutes tops. There's someone who detailed it in a thread about the bumpers, I believe. I'll have to try to find it unless someone else knows off the top of their head.

btw, the count is up to 11, just 4 more for 20% off.

For all the people asking about install time. I did it by myself on my wife's 4Runner and it took 2 hours. It's actually not bad at all.

Also, I literally just promised my wife I wouldn't buy anything this month and then this special shows up. Maybe she can see the reason of it being on sale :) Oh yea....reason....wife....nevermind. Next time guys....

This is good advice, but everything I've bought in the last few years has been on sale so I'm crying wolf at this point!

I installed the Smittybilt X2O 10k with mine. The oil/trans cooler wasn't a problem at all. I did have to mount the solenoid on the side over the motor. It wouldn't work mounted over the drum because of the trucks center brackets. That was no big deal. The bracket to do it was included with the winch. It took me about a six pack to install. 3 just to get up the nerve to cut into my brand new truck. It was well worth it though. This is a very high quality product and it looks great.

    Keep in mind:
    1. SSO includes a trim piece that cleans up the edge created by the cut.
    2. You're cutting plastic, I did it with a multi-tool. It doesn't require heavy duty tools, just take your time. You could probably even do it with a really sharp utility knife, that's how I used to cut bumper shrouds for installing push bars for cop cars back in the day. Clean and easy, no dust or burs.
    3. The part you're cutting isn't $40k, it's a few hundred if you really muck it up. However, man...you'd have to REALLY muck it up to notice it. To the point your spidey-sense would have long stopped you.
    4. If you don't have spidey-sense, I feel bad for you :)

It's really not that bad. I did it alone with the help of a floor jack. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Just be sure to invest in a good quality dremel/rotary tool. I started with one I got from Harbor Freight. It was useless so I went to Lowe's and got a good one.

I too was scared but the cut is really easy. Starting the cut was by far the hardest part. Once I stuck the dremel into the bumper all my anxiety went away. I used a dremel with a rip stop blade. Cutting took less than 5 minutes. Then I slipped on the trim on and mounted the bumper.

So you'll clean it with acetone, use the primer, then the enamel? How many coats of that will you do?

Looking good. The Acetone and good cleaning of the oils and dust are really important, you'll thank yourself later for using the right stuff and doing it right from the beginning.

    Standard treatment for painting metal:

-Sand it very lightly with a very high grit sandpaper.
-Wash it down with an acetone soaked rag.
-hang it from the rafters in my shed/workshop building by ropes.
-Wash it down with acetone again, this time with gloves on and with a new micro fiber cloth.
-Two coats of the self etching primer.
    -5 coats of black satin.

Same process I used for my sliders, they are holding up well.

note: DO NOT use the Rustoleum X2 layer dog crap in a can you see everywhere, use the exact Rustoleum products I pictured above. You'll thank me one day.
