Over 50 were supposed to be at LBL. I think total count over all was 41 or 42

The one on the other side of the trail ideally. Has a good view, more room and is flat.

I remember you all tried to get it but some jeep group already moved in. I'll do what I can to hold it as soon as we get moved in to the cabin.

Might as well go to the OG KFC while we're there too. Steal the recipe!

I met Harlan Sanders years ago. He was actually born and raised in Indiana. (Near Henryville) He would drive up to visit his mother every thursday. He stopped a the same station where I got my gas.

Starting to put together an itenerary of sorts. Quite a few of you are planning on getting there Thursday. I'm guessing you all will set up camp/move in, then maybe do some exploring on Friday. Most of us will roll in on Friday. I'll be there somewhere around mid-afternoon. We'll move in our cabin, then head to the camping area. Last year it rained hard on Friday evening. Hope this year we'll get to cook out, hang out, and maybe share a few cold one's.

Saturday morning, I'd like to hit the trails by 9 AT THE LATEST. Planning on having lunch on the trail. We should make it back to the trailhead by dinner time. (At the latest, before sunset). I'd imagine some of you will do a little night wheelin'. The rest of us will hold down the camp ground.

If anyone is still up for it, we can do another run Sunday morning.

This is all open to change.

Also, we have a wide variety of vehicle "levels" on the list. Saturday may ne divided into 2 (or more) groups based on which "skill level" of trails people want to explore. Green and blue trails are relatively mild. Red and black trails range from difficult to downright ridiculous!

Those who went last year, I'm working on a route that should include a good bit of new trails, while also including the majority of what we did last year. This will hopefully include a bit of red trails.

    Offer up your thoughts....

Office doesnt open until 9. Those "late arrivals" on Saturday have to wait until they get signed in. Personally, I'd like to hit the trails no later than, 7:30 or 8 on Saturday, maybe earlier. It takes a long day to cover the perimeter of the park.

Maybe we can do an early departure group and then a lazy-ass can't get out of bed until lunch time group.

I'm going the wheel. Can sleep when we get home

See my post on the early starters group. There is a short loop we can take that uses trail #10 and goes to Evarts trailhead, then back to Putney to pick up the late starters. I'm with ya on the 6am rollout.
