I've been pulled in to less suspicious conversations, before, that much I know.

Sous vide still needs a sear. You can do the sear over a wood or charcoal fire.

If anyone has half an hour to kill, this video is great!

I sear with 2-3 minutes a side on high heat with the grill, works great!

Sous vide is incredible and can transform a lower quality cut into deliciousness, but if you have the best meat, cook it the best way...on your charcoal grill.

well now you see that is half the problem right here...

the Only way to grill is with all natural lump charcoal for the pure meat and heat flavor!!!

figure a 40 foot container with like 2500 20# bags is something like 15k, that is floor loaded so yea..

kingsford is death, i would argue a ng grill may be better and safer than that...

Was wondering what he meant by "death" though... you know me and my aversion to what I detect as ammonia smell from KF.

DUDE... I'm telling you, one of these years when you finally use up your 870 bags of KF go get a bag of Stubbs from Lowes and try it out. You'll either notice a diff or not, but I 100% for certain can.

I have littler experience with smoking my meat... lol

but I would imagine products used with grilling and smoking differ obviously

cooking with wood can be really nice but tricky compared to charcoal
