Oh that's right, you use quite a bit of wood and not much coal... I'd say 14 years and you'll be ready to try Stubb's

After getting help rubbing my meat, there's usually some wood involved.
I've never had a problem with kf, but prefer lumps when available. Nearest Lowes is 50 miles away, so can't always run down and get some.
Besides, people will say that grilling kills you anyway. I'd rather die early than live really long and have to eat only steamed veggies.
Do you really live longer, or does it just seem that way? ;)

we all gonna die one way or another...

my hang up with the KF is the borax ingredient that is in there... that shit is soap, and I do not like eating soap. there is no doubt it works and will cook your meat though..

    Stubb's...
It's made of all renewable natural resources, 95% hardwood charcoal, and 5% vegetable binder. You will find that most other briquets contain coal and chemical ingredients, as well as fillers like sawdust and limestone. You want to see how Bar-B-Q's done in Texas - try Stubb's Natural Charcoal Briquets!

In reality, thread title is still technically correct. But it does wander.

Well, I'm guessing by your username we share a common curse. We grill a lot as well, sometimes to the point of boredom. We watch carbs pretty tight here but admittedly the food gets boring after a while. The solution: Good Shit. This is BY FAR our favorite seasoning. True, it has sugar but as long as the meal is balanced it's too damn good to not use it. There are some others like Chicken Shit, but we always go back to the Good Shit. Check it out. On Taco night I put it on the tortillas while they're fresh out of the oil. Steak, pork, salad. You name it.

Yeah, type 1 19 yrs. I'll check it out. If you check KETO websites and such there's a lot of options. Just a lot of them take prep work.

Cool. I can tell when my wife stumbles onto something because the meals change. She knows to help keep the carb count low for me, so Keto is the topic lately around here.

    That's a lot, scott.

    :rimshot:

I'm usually grilling with the last of a bag that I'm not quite sure is going to be enough. Charcoal only. The flavor is unbeatable.

So, if anyone orders from flavorgod don't expect your shit too quick. They still haven't shipped. When you go to their Facebook it's all people asking when they will get their orders.
