Similar thing happened on my truck with some really old adhesive. No amount of scrubbing did anything. I used a claybar and it actually started to help. Haven't taken it any further but plan to get more clay and then my polisher.

I tried the clay bar on my 2002 when I removed the badges also. The clay bar helped but up to a point. It wasn't clean enough so I just put the badges back on. I have a feeling this is going to happen this time around too so there's no need in my book to waste the time.

This is the exact reason I derped my badges instead of removing them. The picture above is a bug deflector on the hood that had to come off no matter what!

My plan was to debadge and I wasn't expecting all that to be there since this is a "newer" truck. I was wrong. Black badges aren't all too bad I guess.

Well you know it's time to get off TW when you've gotten a call from your CC company for fraud alert because you're spending too much too quick

Could turn around and make a profit off them! Unless you got a deal from a friend, because turning a profit would be shitty.

Thanks man, it's actually on the cheap end for a steel plate bumper, is made by body armor 4x4! I love it.

Agreed mine sits the same after I installed the OME Dakar leaf pack! It settled a bit and looks about exactly as @Giffmann does.

I don't know, I Like the use of the factory Y-pipe. Seems like would flow better.

Cleaned MAF and throttle body, then cleaned engine and engine bay. Then put a new cabin air filter in. Almost done with the "new to me" maintanence checklist. Front diff, t-case, and transmission left.

Have had my tacoma for a few months now and already put over 5k miles on it. Put in floor lines and seat covers first thing but have a lone list of add ons i would like to do in the future.
