What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

USAA already working it and the body shop has already ordered a new bumper and tailgate and the ass ending was only 2 hours ago.

I "installed" the reverse light tint from Import Equipment. Super easy and I'm into the way it looks. Another subtle one.

 

Nice. How did you do your bumper caps?

 

Plastidip. It sucks. It's held up perfect on my grill, but not the bumper. I plan to pull them off in the next few days and spray them with actual paint.
No going back.
No worries.
No chrome.

 

Looks really good with the Inferno

 

Rotopax makes the rail mount (and hardware). $30. Works perfect!

First off thank you for your service. USAA is amazing. Are you gonna get black or painted end caps to get away from the chrome? Who ass ended you?

 

My wife's Lexas GX470 lost a mirror to an owl a while back! I replaced it my self! It seriously only took my 15 minutes! Watch a YouTube video on how to get the door panel off! Very easy! I'd guess the taco wouldn't be much different!

 

I have one that was on my truck for two months (like new), selling my truck for a 4Runner so I took it back off. $350

 

Damn...timing is kind of wrong for me on it otherwise I'd be all over it. If it were a couple months later...dang!!

 

Some dude in an F150 with a bull bar on the front. Just need new bumper and tailgate. luckily no frame damage. gonna have them paint end caps to match the rest of the new bumper.

Yea, they slide right over the originals and stick with 3m, very easy install and held up through the car wash

 

I've seen those on Amazon. What's the dealer cost? They look good

 

I bought direct from toyota, I work for a towing/automotive company so I get them at cost. But they were more expensive than the ones I saw on Amazon, I just decided to go with the toyota ones because I didn't want to take a chance on aftermarket not being cut the same.
