does anyone know why those wheels are so expensive? I would think they would be comparable to the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels. Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere- I tried to search first.

Judging by this board it seems like the 4Runner pro wheels are more in demand, but I get your logic.

i'm curious though why Toyota went w/ gloss vs a more satin finish. I dont mind the design, the gloss is a bit too much for my liking.

I like them. Hard to justify the price though. They are my first choice currently.

    They're gross imo.

I have wondered why Toyota doesn't charge more the TRD Pro 4runner wheels. They are one of if not the best looking pro wheels they make and yet the cheapest and most produced. The trail teams wheels off the FJ were limited and stupid expensive. Expected the same from all the TRD Pro wheels but quite frankly they selling them for cheap and making plenty to meet demand. I'm sure they making loads off it so it shouldn't be surprising but it's just one of those things I would have expected them to milk more.

    Looks great!
Your grill badge on your video... white plasti, then red plasti then 'glossifier'? Did I get that order right? And got any link to that last bit? Thx

I'm not a fan of the gloss black but it becomes a non-issue once the wheels become matte black from brakes dust/dirt. If I want the the fugly gloss back, it just a simple hose down. I usually wash everything but the wheels.

The wheels and the large side badges are the only aspects of the Pro I make fun of. I really like everything else. Price and the lack of moonroof option prevented me from buying one.
