I called the company directly and asked that. Essentially, they prefer to deal with bulk selling to suppliers like rock auto. They immediately told me to order from one of their vendors.

Curious for the reason as well, I have a set of these I've been debating on installing. You have the ones with the updated ball joint design, etc correct? I'm assuming so if you only have 1500 miles on them.

I see, always been weiry about things from rock auto because they're so cheap compared to the actual manufacturer

I paid $225 for my LBJ. I hear they're cheaper from camelback Toyota so try them first. But I can't complain about the price since all the dealers around me wanted $155 per LBJ.

I had a very similar experience on my '02. I got a set od interior LEDs from csjumper2003 and the dome light would not come on in the 'door' position unless one of the map lights was also turned on. It would come on in the 'on' position. It was very strange. And yes, all of his LED come with resistors on them.

Jumper did make good on it when I asked him for help. He sent another dome light that does work correctly but interestingly, it has a different resistor on it. One that has a higher rating. Unfortunately, the added resistance also means the light isn't as bright as the first one and definitely not as bright as the map lights.

I did my sliders with that and they came out great and hold up to all kinds of abuse. The only thing I would consider when putting them on plastic would be to hit it with a plastic primer first to help with adhesion. May or may not be necessary, but just a thought.

Links to mesh and also trd emblem by chance?

All the grilles I've found that look similar I have a price tag I can't justify when I know I can make one myself...

Lol best thing I read all morning because it's so true. Honestly it felt to be more of a pain in the ass than tubbing. But a large part of that was due to all the prep/rust found before installing the vinyl. The actual vinyl install only took me two afternoons, not counting the lids. Either way, super happy with how it came out like you are.

And I finally have all my skids on and diff oil changed. Ready for a wheeling trip this weekend.

Just to add my experience with LEDs, this is how it goes for me.

First off, I do not currently but have tried an LED in the map lights. Works just fine. No issue at all. The issue is with the dome, as with everyone else.
If the map lights are on or the key is in the on position, the dome LED will light as it should whether the switch is set to on or to door and the door is open. But if the key and maps are off, it will just give a super faint flicker. I solved this by getting, IIRC, a 1 amp 2 ohm resistor and wrapping it around the ends of the LED (since I don't have a soldering iron). This solves the issue completely. Dome lights as should regardless of key or map lights. The issue now is that it lights rattle loose around the LED and I have to adjust it. Rather annoying, but until I solder it, I just gotta adjust it from time to time.
Oh and my dome LED is definitely not as bright as the new halogen (they are halogen, right?) bulbs in my map lights. I assume this is because of the resistor. But tbh I like it. It makes the dome light a white but not super bright light. Don't think I'd want the dome brighter, but I can't say for sure.

Just got a sheet of aluminum from the local metal supply for 40$. It was enough for 2 grills.
I cut it to fit and painted it.

TRD emblem was from the dealership I saw it when I was getting an oil filter in the parts department

I spent about 60$. And an hour of free time.

Yeah sure, here. As you can see, I have it go around the back of the LED and wrap over top of the sides. I have had to readjust/position it a few times but how I have it currently has not come loose yet and thus not given me an issue. So far, this seems the best positioning.

And if the LED looks like it's bend/breaking, that's because it is. I have manhandled it. But it still works fine!
