Same here. I think I just need to recharge mine.

 

Mine could use a recharge to make it work better but it still works

 

My truck hates the use of a/c

 

Why? Does it take up the last 10 HP you got left?

 

Mine stopped working last year I think. I could live without it, but the rest of the family might like it.

 

Mine seems unaffected by running the A/C, honestly. I don't notice any hit to my MPG's, and it's certainly not affecting the available power.

And it actually cools the cab off pretty quickly, for such a large space.

Edit- The primitive AC in the '69 and the '84 only works if you're moving, though.

 

I'm not sure if I attach this link correctly. My nephew has virtually the same truck. I cannot believe how much they're asking for that truck. Although it is exceptionally clean and low miles, but still. If there was ever any question but the Toyotas hold their value, well ......

Also I've never turned on the AC in my truck, just roll down both windows and open the rear slider. If you're too hot, drive faster!

 

My AC still works great. I notice a slight MPG drop, but no significant power difference. Was pretty awful getting home yesterday and stepping out into the 92° air. Even the house was 80. At least my bedroom is air conditioned so I sleep well.

 

I had the AC on and windows down on the ride to work this morning. 20 mile commute and my truck said 26.2 MPG

 

Meh... you can ask anything you want for a vehicle. I'd love to meet the sap that actually pays $17,900 for a 13 year old truck. Sure, it's clean but that's just ridiculous.

No, nobody in the Northeast has a bass stocking program. They are prolific- just stop managing any northeast lake for trout and salmon and within a dozen years you will have bass in it. Umbagog is a very shallow lake, average depth of 10 feet, thus it's basically not sustainable for delicate, put and take fish like salmon and trout. However, with Umbagog you have the Rapid River running into it, a world class brook trout and salmon fishery, so you have to expect a population of coldwater fish to find thier way into Umbagog, albeit for a very, very short time before the bass and pickeral demolish them. It's also the headwaters of the Andorscoggin, so again some coldwater fish may sneak upstream.

That's why I was really surprised you caught lakers. Actually, I'm not so much suprised you caught them, but more so that you targeted them. It's a warmwater fishery for all intensive purposes.

Speaking of AC we just went to HD last night to buy a new one for our bedroom

 

That's funny, I'm the polar opposite, I've never once turned my AC off!! Even in the dead of winter, heat blaring- AC compresser is on and cranking. Honestly never have shut it off since I bought the truck in 2013.
