    I've meet the TemboTusk guys at Overland Expo West. Very nice people. They were also showing off a new smaller version aimed at motorcyclists. I probably could have picked one up there, but I believe they were asking full price. This is a pretty good deal even though shipping is kinda expensive due to it being heavy. I look forward to trying it out.

    Yup in talking with them they seem very nice. I saw that smaller version too. New product they're marketing right now I believe. And ya shipping is all over the place with online sales. The thing is heavy but built to last, and it's the best price I've seen on one since early 2016.

    I am actually in California. Originally from Honolulu though. The way the group buy will work is simple. Once ordering starts you will get instructions and a discount code. Add the skottle grill or kit to your cart and anything else you want. Add the discount code, but it will only discount the price of the skottle grill or kit. Then proceed to checkout and shipping as normal.

    I don't envy you guys living in HI or Canada due to all the extra shipping costs!! But just for reference, $62 is the same shipping cost as for my old address in SOMD. But one less day of waiting.

    Any idea where Tembo Tusk is based out of? I don't see an address listed anywhere, even when I do a whois search on their domain name. I thought they were an east coast company, but I'm not sure.

    Based upon shipping costs and times, I would wager SoCal. Shipping times are usually 1 day for socal and up to 4 days for east coast.

    Gotcha. The carry bag is made by Blue Ridge Overland Gear which are in Bedford, Virginia. I've been to their shop. Again, very cool people, and they manufacturer their products by hand.

    Yup that's correct. So if people order the kit, they're supporting TWO awesome U.S. companies. I actually just installed their "attic" in my 4Runner.
