To ME this is a easy trail to run by yourself. Great if you can take your time, like 2 days and take in all the sites that are there to see. Way too much to see.

I never made it to that lookout tower, and I spent 2 days checking the sites out. Getting out and walking around a LOT.

Not as bad as 2 birds ruining it.

I'm heading to Downieville this weekend myself for mountain biking. I think most of the upper trails are still covered in snow but the lower trails are open. If we have time on Sunday I might check out Poker flat as well.

    For sure!
Have you ever ridden the Cannell Plunge near Kernville? I might try to get down there this year. There's Sherman Pass 4x4 trail as well. The last time I was there my truck was completely stock and didn't know how to drive...well worse than I drive now anyway. I barely made it up there. We camped near Menachi Meadows.

Saw this on the "Recent Threads" list on the main page....Any room for a Socal douchebag? Would definitely like to hit some of the rock crawling trails in Norcal this summer if possible. I completely understand if you folks want to keep it regional-ish though.

-Not a flaker, if I say I'm going to show up, I'll show up(barring fucking up my truck really bad).
-Spare inners, outers, rear drive shaft, yadda yadda yadda
    -No fucks given
    -Will bring extra spindles :)

Here's a video of Andy @tetten wheeling. The white truck.

    https://instagram.com/p/BUpbIg8lR6m/

We made him an honorary NorCal member on the Death Valley trip. Knighted him and everything. Except @jberry813 said he used a "mushroom stamp" instead of a sword... whatever that means. I was passed out it the camper when all this went down.
