    Never enough
I ran out of gas recently on the highway and had to coast onto an off ramp. I didn't run out of gas because I couldnt afford it, but rather because I was running around like a crazy person trying to get shit done over the previous week. I would have never imagined so many people would just drive on past without even a glance. I ended up giving the dude who stopped some cash. He looked at me like I was crazy for paying him because clearly everyone who runs out of gas does so because they couldnt afford to fill their tank.

Long story short good people have bad days and need help sometimes, a few minutes of your time can make a huge difference for someone.

I only ask because a with a yellow top, you can likely get the same specs as a blue top. You also get 1 more year of a warranty.
3year for yellow and 2 year for blue

Ok. I've looked a little more since last night and I think I've settled on the Northstar AGM. I just don't know if the 27 will do what I want or if I should get the 31.

Cool. Not sure what your needs are. Just keep in mind if ya go 31, youll need a new battery cage like the one from pelfreybilt or somethin

I personally run two 27s and solar. Damn happy with it, but nowhere near cheap.
    Good luck

I am looking to possibly get a dual battery setup with some Solar as well.

Trying to decided if I want to piece a kit together or get a prebuilt.

But damn... did not know how much those things are.

True, but I'm glad I did with mine, though I needed new terminals anyway.

I will be using it for a dometic fridge and occasional winching. I'm going to try to get away with a single 27.

That is great that you do that. That's something we should all do, helping out others. Sometimes just stopping and asking has a good impact on all involved and shows others that it doesn't take much to lift our fellow neighbors up.

I see. I'm not very familiar with the options, but I got a 31M which came with the extra screw-post terminals.

National Luna dual battery system is the best out there.

People with fridge slides, do they extend 100%? As in, if I put it in a box with a roof, can I pull it out and access my cooler?

Here is a shitty design of the storage system I'm making for the back of the runner.

    crappy 5 second design.

Black box is cooler on fridgeslide 18.1" wide, 16" tall.

Grey Box is husky box 18" wide, 15" tall.

Blue box is entire platform: 18" tall, 42" wide.

    Beautiful

Was looking at those possibly, trying to find a battery tray for the passenger side that will do what I need it to do.

The best vs best value are often two differant things.

With that said the National Luna is super nice. It doesn't seem like there are any other systems nearly as nice as it. You buy it once and that's it.

Offgrid engineering has a battery kit that will mount a battery on the passenger fender. They can also set it up to be the starting battery if you want to.
