Got one back from a vendor that we are ditching that closed a trouble ticket this morning and replied "by design". And this is one of the reasons why we are dumping them, they don't know it yet.

I'm not in a lot of meetings anymore, maybe an hour or 2 a day for technical stuff. Some days are better than others.

Was just in a meeting a little while ago sitting here in the recliner wearing my Carhartt pants and hiking boots with a T shirt. Of course the powers that be want to work around the rules of physics and expect me to do it. Heat index is in the 90's outside but after I hung up took the new pup out to the deck to get some air, mainly cigar filled air, and try to figure out how to do the impossible once again.

20 yards away was a fawn getting a drink from Mamma

I need to start taking the camera out on the deck instead of just my phone camera. OK now back to making my head hurt. At least the breaks are decent around here. The work isn't too bad. And not the first time I have pulled off the impossible. They come to expect it though.

They liked our in house QDR system so they integrated/mimicked it in theirs. It morphed into SPI. That takes the "we f'd up" out of the title. That sounds like something Bosch came up with. Like, "we don't have problems, but opportunities to use our creativity". Call a problem a flippin problem.

Yep another fun visit to my local VA and just got back home a few min ago

It definitely was an adventure or normal occurrence at the VA . yep my primary doctor did indeed send the brace consult to the wrong dept . Now I've got to use secure messaging and get my Doctor to re issue the consult to the Prothestics / brace dept so I can get a new knee unloaded brace

A co-worker once told me, "I don't want to argue with you, but you're wrong."
    Best part...I wasn't.
Hey, wait a minute, this is 50+, thank goodness for the + ;)

I just love cheap clinics. They have one of the otc blood pressure machines. The gal put the cuff on me, hits start and it automatically restarted twice. I told her the batteries are going dead, she gives me this wide eyed "oh shit" look, the macines stops and the read out says 213/93. "Is this normal?" she asks....

...no excuse. I like to take responsibility for my screw ups. That really messes with people's minds in this day and age.
