No need for UCAs really unless you plan to lift over 2" Personally would have spent the 400 to 500 dropped on UCAs for better coils and shocks (6112s and 5160s).

I was gonna go that route, but I've had alignment issues without them.

They help with added caster if you're going over 2" on these trucks from what I've seen. Have not heard any issues with caster if staying under 2" from anything I've seen or heard. I have been advised if you use UCAs without enough lift it can also create issues (too much caster). Water under bridge for you at this point I guess. If doing install yourself, you might consider trying lift without UCAs, get alignment and see. If they're not needed, save yourself some bucks. Just pontificating.

And thank you @smitty99 for the write up on the bushing. Probably would have never even considered it.

Did you do before and after measurements? What did you get for actual lift?

I did not. I had the shop do it with the lift install. It was an additional $60

Yeah man, they are great. Obviously I supplied the part and the tool. Install, alignment and bushing ran me $900. With a written guarantee of work, including alignment and any future ones if needed.

Not to sound cliche, but I feel like it's better than stock. I tested it on some mild off roads today and I've never been more impressed

That's great man, glad you're enjoying it. Hope to do the same to my truck soon. Just did a leveling kit until I decided what type of suspension, wheels/tires I wanted to do.

Screenshotted your build for future reference with Marie at HStrong!
