    Turkey Bend Recreation area is close, and pretty awesome for group camping. Was thinking about suggesting a TW group camping meet there one of these days:

    Camp Creek Recreation Area is close too, and also pretty awesome. Its a real small park, but does have some ok camping spots (all shaded) that are right on the creek.
