I moved here from Asheville, NC where I had retired from the Navy. You could wear them in those hills between Asheville and Chattanooga? Used to chase the grouse in those mountains more times than not shooting laying on my back sliding down hill. Not many grouse there though so not a lot of shooting.

Yep that long typical VA Red Tape plus the brace is made outside by a civilian vendor

Thought things were getting better and overall they have been. Got a toy for each delivered from Amazon today and tonight gave them each their own on separate sides of the gates. Switched the dogs around a bit later and forgot the toys. The new young guy almost went through the gate to get at the older dog that was near his toy. And teeth flashing all over the place. One step forward 2 steps back and my own fault. Food and toys the 2 time bombs waiting to go off.

Finally got the new guy to sit still long enough to get a picture of him before the shit hit the fan.

I did those are insulated winter boots for blowing and shoveling snow. First pair of BOA lacing system boots and I do like them. Especially with messed up sciatic nerve and having to lace. 90 here today heat index in the low 100's with humidty. Even the Crispi boots are a bit warm today but they hold my feet together LOL.

I might have missed something, but I was referring to Mike's (Cold Iron) two bird dogs.

    No offense intended...

LOL buddy system... Maybe I was on recruiting duty there from 92 to end of 95 when I retired. Stayed there until 99 when I moved to Mn. Yes one of the best places I have lived. Figure when I retire for good will go back to Western NC. Or there abouts.
