Light quality for the Heise, how does it compare to the Baja and Rigid? I know in the past I've had big expensive lights that I hardly ever even turn on but wondering what some of the real world use of this lamp is.

I ordered the Heise lightbar too. I couldn't justify paying way more for the Baja or RI, although a friend told me that the build quality and ability to be rebuilt is why he chose Baja.

 

Baja Designs is, in my honest opinion, the very best on the market right now. Rigid has always been a contender, but the ability to change lenses, and rebuild the light is a great benefit. Plus Baja Designs offers really great features like amber backlighting and that awesome looking scalloped housing. The Heise lighting we offer was a company we found while at SEMA last year. We were looking for a slim model to replace the 25" light we used to carry. If you've ever installed an aftermarket radio or had one installed, chances are it was a Metra Electronics wiring kit. Metra owns Heise and offers a lifetime warranty on all of their leds. They also have this one way gore membrane that lets condensation out as the light heats up. In terms of best bang for the buck, Heise wins it hands down.

 

I went with rigid,.. because my truck is spoiled.

Plus with the 20% discount I'll never get a better deal.

You want to know how nice this bumper is, it will be the focal point of your whole truck:

Lights are only there so people can enjoy the bumper at night.
Wheels are only there so the bumper can move around and more people can enjoy it.
Paint is only there to really help the bumper stand out.
Cab is only there to protect the bumper from getting rear ended.
Interior is only there so you can be comfortable and drive the bumper around more.
Windows are only there so you can hear people compliment the bumper while driving it around.
