I was afraid of that....I'll have to ask the dealership that i bought the truck from.
    Maybe they will know.

What's interesting is that there was five blanks to use, but they drilled into the dash for a mystery button.

trace the wire. i bet its an aftermarket alarm and the previous owner lost the fob. You might even get lucky if its a remote start too.

get under the dash, reach your hand up there and see if there are wires coming off that light. Follow the wires back under the dash and see if they go to some kind of module or box like an aftermatket alarm or starter, etc. You can probably get a name or model number off the box if there is one. Youll prob need a flashlight.

Looks like for an alarm to me also. Look under the hood and see if there is a small horn anywhere in there.

I'd guess an alarm system also, push it and see if horn sounds or lock and see if light comes on.

    I've pushed it several times...
Definitely doesn't eject the passenger or driver -
    Nothing happens.

I'll have to dig into it after work. The unknown is driving me crazy.

Have you tried holding down the button? With the truck on and off? I feel you though, that would drive me crazy too not knowing what it does.

Definitely trace the Wire see where it's going and what it's doing. Then let us know what you found.
