I doubt I will mess with a tank. Haven't really ever had the desire to run one, but you never know...

I was just thinking may make less work for compressor to air up tires. I have no experience with how quick and efficient these compressors are though.

I believe that it would have to be a pretty big tank to make any kind of noticeable difference in airing up tires. I could be wrong but that is my belief.

yeah small tanks don't create any beneficial reserve.

Not much of an update, but finally making some good progress on a project I've been working on for a while now.

Got the old bushings out and finally got the ball joints pressed out. Just took throwing more money at it and buying a press. Now just need to clean them up and do the welding on them that I want to do and hit them with some paint and they will be ready for new bushings and ball joints and finally installed.

Took me right at 5 minutes per set. I have another set not pictured. Actually took me longer to remove the c clips out of the second set then it did to press out all 4 ball joints.

I think you were doing something wrong...

Nah, i took me about the same time to press mine out. I admit, i was nerve wracked doing mine and it was my first time doing ball joints.

My first time to, but no nerves. Although it seems everyone else is having much less difficulty removing the bushings than I am experiencing. The rubber bushings are sliding right out but the bushing sleeves are staying stuck in and taking much more "persuasion" to get out.

Going whiteline. Don't like the idea of having to go through all the trouble of cleaning and reusing the stock pieces.

    Thanks though.

Started on the bed rack project this weekend. Pretty much going to keep it under wraps on details as I've seen several people lately that like to "clone" other people's ideas.

But here is a picture of the truck getting ready for the fab work to start.
