    Updated meeting spot.

What's up all? I'm looking to get together Toyota enthusiasts that live in the southwest Florida area (Ft Myers, Naples, Cape Coral and other areas). I'm interested to see how many people would be willing to participate in this type of thing. This is open to any Toyota enthusiast as I didn't want to limit it to Tacomas because my buddy loves his 4runner.

MEETING @ Bass Pro Shops 10040 Gulf Center Dr Miramar Lakes, FL 33913
WHEN: Wednesday, June 14th at 7:00PM

My father is the president of the SWFL Corvette Club and this is basically what sparked my interest in doing something like this. Well, that and I'm new to the area. Eventually I'd like to get this to be a full on club similar to SWFL Corvette Club or Caloosa Jeepers.

Please reply below if you have any interest in this whether you can make this first meet or not.

Not much around for places to meet at. Lazy Springs is best bet. Could try bagel factory in the Cape but we gonna have to sneak around

Yea, I've noticed the lack of legal off road locations in the area. For this first meeting... I'm just looking to get some people together, shoot the breeze and basically create a network of people for camping, off roading, or even helping each other to work on our vehicles and stuff like that. I've seen so many Tacomas/4Runners in the area but couldn't find any groups for the area. So I figured, why not try and get something going.

Well there is not many of us around as far as on here. The only other active person recently moved to NC. There is another thread for the area and people chimed in but nobody commits to actually getting together. I'm the only one from down here. I also go to all the meets in florida

Great idea. IDK about Applebee's though haha. I'd say Millers in the bass pro parking lot

Make it lazy Springs. Gives people a reason to go. Offroad trucks meeting in parking lots is super lame

I'm a little further north in Port Charlotte. Not too many places to go off road around here either, especially since the big fire where we normally go. BTW, if the guy with the 2nd gen MGM Tacoma with 6" lift that travels through North Port is here, nice truck.

I'm down for that. I'm grabbing a bite afterwards so Bass across from Millers works fine. @Rattletrap66 do you mind updating the location? Bass Pro Shops 10040 Gulf Center Dr Miramar Lakes, FL 33913

Lazy Springs isn't open until the weekend. It's cool if you don't want to meet in the parking lot. I just figured it would be easier to find people with the trucks. I'm down to give Lazy Springs a shot next Saturday, I've never been there. Are goggles and helmet really mandatory?

Well it looks like three, maybe four will be there based on replies I've received. I'm gonna hang out from 7-730 and if all no show I'm gonna head over to Millers for food and beer.

Sorry, did not see this until I logged in a few minutes ago. We were there and @gainman was the only one my brother-in-law and I ended up meeting. @VZLTACO, will let you know once something else gets put together.

@gainman ... very nice meeting you. Definitely look forward to some adventures. Enjoy your trip north.
